Nikki Beach Hotels and Resorts, the luxury brand of properties known for an elite clientele, is getting ready to open a resort in Playa Blanca, Panama. The opening is set for October, according to the company, which has its U.S. offices in Miami Beach.
The $30 million Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Playa Blanca is on the Pacific Coast, about 75 miles west of Panama City. Its 230 guestrooms, including deluxe rooms, suites and penthouses, will overlook Playa Blanca beach.

"The Nikki Beach brand combines a five-star level of service and amenities with a fun and sexy atmosphere that is unique to the luxury resort segment; this component will elevate the Panama [resort] to another dimension," said Victor Pitti, director of sales and marketing.

Nikki Beach Hotels and Resorts is a division of the Nikki Beach lifestyle entertainment company. Known for its exclusive Nikki Beach clubs in cities around the world, the company's resort in Panama will be its first in Central America. Other Nikki resorts are in Miami, the Cape Verde Islands, Croatia, Greece, Cyprus, Egypt, Qatar, Jordan and Thailand.

The resort will, of course, feature the company's signature Nikki Beach club: 100,000 square feet worth of pools, private cabanas, live entertainment and food and drink options. Its Pearl Ultra Lounge Night Club, Nikki Pearl Ballroom, Nikki Spa and the Tone Health Club will round out the offerings.

Rates are $250 per night for deluxe rooms, $700 for a one-bedroom suite and $1,200 for a three-bedroom penthouse unit.
