August 22, 2016. Fans eagerly prepare as Sizzla embarks on his first US Tour after 8 years. He is on the heels of his Reggae on the River performance, which has been described as a great energetic performance and the best Reggae On the River ever held. Today Team Sizzla arrived in Florida for the second show and will continue on to Georgia, D.C., New York and over 20 other cities.
Focused and ready to fill an 8 year demand, Sizzla will deliver and represent his catalogue of over 75 albums. "It's been a very long time since my fans have had an opportunity to see me live in the United States and I am looking forward to it. My first performance at Reggae On The River was just the spark but now I am going to blaze a musical fire for all my fans to enjoy."
Sizzla has not been to the U.S. since he visa was not renewed in 2008. This tour is dedicated to his Sizzla Youth Foundation with the theme Building Dreams, Creating Hopes, and Fostering Development. The aim is to use the tour as a platform to not only connect with the fans musically but also bring some solution oriented discussions for helping the youth in urban communities.
'Music is food for the soul' and Sizzla's fan's will get a full-course meal to help fill the insatiable demand that his fans have been displaying on social media and at the concerts. Team Sizzla organized by Manager, Homer Harris expresses that, "I am happy to know that he is back in the States to give his fans all the good music that they have been missing over the years. The team through my leadership has worked very hard to ensure that he returns to the States and I am very proud of all of the hard work that was put in."
