Montego Bay awaits the launch of “Vocal Ink - The Mental Intercourse”

Montego Bay, Jamaica, W.I. March 25, 2016. The literary world is poised for transformation with the publication of Yasus Afari's first novel, the Afromantic "Vocal Ink - The Mental Intercourse".

After a very successful launch in Kingston, Yasus Afari carries the celebration of his ground-breaking novel to the city of Montego Bay, on Thursday, March 31st, 6:00 p.m. at the Pavilion, University of the West Indies (UWI), Western Jamaica Campus, located at 10 Queens Drive.

Vocal Ink has the highly valued support of UWI's Department of Literatures in English; Rastafari Studies Unit; the Institute for Gender and Development Studies and University of the West Indies, Mona, Western Jamaica Campus.

Vocal Ink is published by SenYacum Publishers with an all-star lineup of support by national and international giants such as Professor Benjamin Zephaniah, London, who wrote the introduction; Professor Gillian Royes who wrote the foreword as well as Liz Millman of UK and Australia and Joan Andrea Hutchinson of Jamaica who both did liner notes reviews.

The Warrior Lover

Vocal Ink is inspired by a real life love affair, which then shaped the foundation for a journey into the world of emotional intelligence, spirituality, social justice, metaphysics and the art of the warrior lovers.

Vocal Ink - The Mental Intercourse is literally an interactive journey into the realms and world of the Inkusphere, realm of the printed word and the imagination, piloted by Yasus Afari, the intellectual outlaw.
